The only reason why I bought this was because it was on sale, and also because I was curious. How does suede feel on the lips? Furry? Velvety? It piqued my interest so... Here we go.

This lippie packs some serious staying power. I was kinda impressed because it didn't leave any marks on my white cup! I'm very particular about leaving lipstick marks and stains on cups and straws because I often share drinks with friends. It's kinda embarrassing and unsightly and I do wipe away the stains off the straw with a napkin. Am I weird?! I don't have to worry about this anymore when I wear this lipstick out! :)
Any Revlon product with the name ColourStay in it indicates that it is meant for long wearing hours. When the product sets on the lips, it creates a shield of colour and doesn't budge for hours. However, it's really tacky on the lips after it sets - even tackier than the NYX lip creams. It feels a little tight and leathery on the lips and I experienced some dryness during my 3 hour wear time.
Overall, I'm not liking its texture on the lips and it feels really uncomfortable to me. Boo.

098 Fashion Forward is a purplish berry/plum shade. It has a balm-like texture when first applied on the lips but sets to a satin/semi-matte finish. It has a pearly shine to it but doesn't contain any noticeable glitter flakes. The product goes on pretty sheer so take time to build the colour up.
After enjoying a bowl of stir fried noodles: Some bald spots of colour noted on the upper lip. The colour on the lower lip is still intact!
One thing I really dislike about this product - touch ups are insanely difficult to execute!!! Remember that it creates a film of colour on the lips? It's really difficult to remove the lip colour without any make up remover. Meaning that you can't just wipe everything off your lips and reapply a fresh coat. IT DOESN'T BUDGE. The colour just builds up and gets darker after each application when you touch up! This leads to uneven patches of colour on the lips :( It looks awful and feels heavy and tacky on the lips. Urgh. You could bring make up remover wipes out but I'm too lazy for that.

I guess its only okay to wear this out on occasions where you do not have to eat (e.g buffets, oily food). Touch ups would be too much of a hassle. It's kinda regrettable because the staying power is awesome and the colour is gorgeous but unfortunately, the formula does not match up to its other awesome characteristics :(
