I've finally got my hands on the new Aritaum Water Sliding Tints! I actually ordered #4, #12 and #15 but I received #2 instead of #12... But that's okay! #2 actually turned out to be my favourite one of the three :O Life gives you surprises sometimes...

They're not a new and improved version of the Honey Melting Tints - read my review on them here. In fact, they are TOTALLY different in terms of texture, finish, lasting power and application. What remains the same is the strong colour payoff and vividness of the colours in both products.

texture

It feels like a watery balm - it is neither thick or oily and doesn't feel heavy on the lips. I can understand why they named it Water Sliding Tint because it just glides onto the lips with absolutely no friction... The formula is HIGHLY moisturising and they are VERY glossy on the lips. It almost looks like a layer of oil on your lips. I don't even need to wear a lip balm prior to application.

Water Sliding Tints have more of a sheer colour whereas the Honey Melting Tints are more opaque and creamier in texture. It is not sticky at all unlike the Honey Melting Tints which can be a little tacky. Both tints have a fruity scent and taste!

application

One thing I really hate is the application!! The lip tint bullet is not retractable so you gotta be careful when you twist it! It is recommended to only expose 1mm of the tint for application as the formula is very soft and melts upon body temperature. Be careful if you bring this out on a hot, sunny day as the tint will become even softer and MELT.

It's difficult to get it on your lips as well because it's basically just a flat surface. I usually use my fingers to spread the colour on my lips, otherwise the colour will look uneven and blotchy!

The tints have a poor longevity and leaves a subtle tint behind even for the darker shades. Because of its super glossy nature, the colour doesn't stay in one place on your lips! It slips and slides off your lips and transfers easily - probably not a good idea to wear a dark red glossy shade that could potentially make you look like the Joker :(

#2 Rose Valley

A warm, coral-pink shade.

My favourite! It just makes you look fresh and lively :)

#4 Pinky Funky

A yellow-toned light pink shade.

I don't wear this colour often because I think I have nicer pink lip colours :p
Overall this was quite a disappointment as it was promoted as one of the star colours of the range.

#15 Cherry Coke

A deep wine red.

I think this colour works best for a gradient lip than a full lip colour!

#4 Pinky Funky and this would work well together for a gradient look! :D

Hola!! It's gonna be Lunar New Year next week! Have y'all bought your new clothes and shoes? I'm taking this opportunity to buy some make up on my wishlist heh heh, I can't wait to wear bright red lips with all my outfits during this period! :D I'm excited because I can pig out on my favourite pineapple tarts! They should make it available all year round *cries*

Anyway I'm here with a brand new review today! I've been really loving Aritaum's products so far  - good quality and affordable. The World Glam Coating Tint isn't a new product, but I've read many good reviews about it so... Here we go!

They're named World Glam Coating Tint because each tint in the series is named after a capital of a country! I wonder if they had a tint named after Singapore what kinda shade would it be? Hmm...

Like most Aritaum products, they do not come in boxes.

Watch out for an intact safety seal when you purchase them!

The applicator shape does a good job at getting at the corners and the cupid's bow! It has a flat surface with a pointed tip and is slightly angled to fit the curve of your lips to facilitate easy application.

The World Glam Coating Tint has an almost gel-like texture on the lips! They are non-sticky and very glossy! It feels lightweight and comfortable during wear and it is quite moisturising as well! :D However, it isn't that long lasting and doesn't leave a strong tint after it fades. I found that I had to reapply it quite frequently (~every 2-3 hours). It has a fruity and sweet scent. These apply rather sheer compared to other tints but I LOVE the colours! So pretty!

A very faint stain remains.

Seoul is a pinkish-peach colour that doesn't contain any shimmer.

It isn't as orangey as I expected it to be (thank goodness)!

A very pretty colour that's great for everyday make up.

It's like a my-lips-but-way-better colour! :D

tokyo

Tokyo is a cool-toned cherry red with gold shimmer.

It gives your lips that 'just bitten' look!

I wear this when I want a red that's not too overly bold.

Normally I shun away from lip products with shimmer because they are 

either gritty on the lips or too glittery! 

In this case, it isn't that obvious so I'll just embrace it LOL

I've noticed that Tokyo settles more into the lip lines more than Seoul, as you can see in the photos. 

The Aritaum World Glam Coating Tints are really similar to the Etude House Colour Pop tints in terms of formula! Both are non-sticky and glossy. The Etude House ones are more vibrant and tint much better. However, the World Glam Coating Tints have a more natural finish in my opinion. I like both though despite the poor tint ability of the Coating Tints. Anything non-sticky but ultra glossy is a sure winner for me :D My only complaint is that the official Aritaum swatches are very deceiving! They are not as pigmented or vibrant as advertised. 

I couldn't resist getting another one... It's on its way here now :p

Hello! It's the end of January 2015 already?! Can you believe it? Well, this month I collected quite a few things to play with and here they are! It's nail polish spree this time! :) All Korean products this time round as well! :o Seems like I'm really obsessed with them...

Well honestly, out of the pile here I only bought like 5 items plus a couple of Etude House eyebrow pencils (not pictured) with my own money! The rest were gifts from friends and family! So thank you guys for feeding my obsession :D

Pony x Memebox Shine Easy Glam Palette

 Season 1

I love this to death. I love all the shades in this neutral palette! There's nothing worse than a odd shade in an eyeshadow palette that you won't utilise. The sparkly shades are gorgeous! I think I used it almost every day ever since I got it... More in-depth review to come later on! :)

Contains natural Jeju tangerine extracts.
It might look milky from the outside but not to worry! It's clear when applied on!

Eco Nail Color PRO #44

A glittery nail polish with a mixture of fine and large rose gold, white and holographic glitter.
Very pretty! I'm sold with anything rose gold :D

Your basic shiny top coat.

A strawberry milk pink colour. Reminds me of strawberry flavoured Pocky!

Deep dark red colour with slight brownish tone. I love this! 

It matches my Dear My Wish Lips Talk lipstick! :D

I find that the quality Innisfree's nail polish brushes are better as they are flatter and wider which makes it easier to apply. Etude House ones are thinner and narrower in shape and they leave obvious streak marks. The consistency of Etude House nail polishes are thinner than the Innisfree ones.

Overall I like Innisfree's nail polishes better because they do last longer than the Etude House ones and are less stinky! 

Aritaum World Glam Coating Tint

Top: Seoul
A coral-pink colour that's really flattering on fair skin tones!
The perfect balance of peach and pink :)
Its my favourite tint now!

Bottom: Tokyo
A muted cherry red colour with gold shimmer.
The shimmer is very subtle so I'm not bothered by it! It gives a nice glow.

I really highly recommend these :D They are so pretty and I swear I'm gonna get more colours! Although it says it's a tint, but I find that it doesn't last that long. But I can overlook that because it's really glossy, moisturising and NOT STICKY! The formula is really similar to the Etude House Color Pop Tints - which I love as well! Full review to come! :)

Aritaum Full Cover Stick Concealer 

02 Natural Beige

I bought this mainly because I felt like I had to do something about my undereye circles that were expanding their territory. Creamy consistency, non-oily and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Has a decent amount of coverage and doesn't look cakey on the eye area. It comes with a soft brush (pinky nail size) on the other end that is surprisingly useful for blending. Lasting power is average though!

03 Very Very Red

An interesting concept that I thought I'd share! :)

The gradation nail set consists of 3 different nail polishes labelled 1, 2 and 3. The number indicates the order of which you should apply them!

1 is a shimmery sheer red. 

2 is a sheer red base with fine red and gold glitter. 

3 is a sheer red base with large red, gold and silver glitter.

Instructions come in English and figures! Finish with a top coat to seal in the glitters and you're good to go. 

I've actually tried it already and it works! It dries quickly and applies really well. I'm not too sure about the colour though. Its too cutesy for my taste but I highly recommend it for Chinese New Year with all that red and gold going on! My sister bought this and asked me to try it out so yup, it works! :D

 3-in-1 effect! Balm! Lipstick! Tint!

Honey Melting Tints are basically lip balms that pack a powerful punch of colour! The pigmentation is comparable to a lipstick. There's definitely some opacity going on - its not sheer. The colours are really vibrant and bright, especially Grapefruit Soda. It looked almost neon orange in the tube. They have a fruity, sweet scent.

I actually only bought Sugar Syrup and Apple Tart - the seller was kind enough to throw in one more free... And so that was how I was blessed with Grapefruit Soda!

(p/s I actually thought this would look really garish on my skin tone but hey! It's not too bad!)

It has a creamier texture than regular lip balms but still feels light weight. The Honey Melting Tints tend to tug on the lips (e.g like an eraser to paper) when you try to glide it on in a single stroke. It isn't as buttery as the Maybelline Baby Lips. I suggest that you apply them in small sections starting from the centre of the lips! Kinda disappointing for the 'melting' part of the product name! :p

Also, they have a slight sticky texture. Sort of like when you have lip gloss on! But it isn't as glossy or sticky as lip gloss. It doesn't really bother me much as its quite minimal :)

As you can tell from the swatches, they have a pleasant shine which isn't too glossy!

tint-ability

Check out the swatches side by side and how well it tints! The product was left on the skin for ~3 minutes.

Top to bottom: Sugar Syrup, Grapefruit Soda, Apple Tart

After wiping off the product. 

Grapefruit Soda and Apple Tart left a stronger stain on the skin.
